For a long time I figured that was just a personal quirk. Then I noticed everyone I actually like is the same way. My kids still do the "squirrel" thing — mid-argument about something completely made up, they'll just stop because they spotted a rock — and five minutes later they're back with "Did you know—" like nothing happened.

That's basically the whole company. I wanted a shirt that said "I get it" without having to say anything else.

We're for the curious minds

The name says STEAM, because we make shirts for people who ask "why" — whatever the subject happens to be that week. Rocks. Space. A weird historical footnote nobody else remembers. The eleven tabs currently open on someone's phone. The subject changes constantly. The person doesn't.

What we actually make

Well-made shirts with something worth saying — not a lecture, just an unmistakable flag that says "yep, that's me.". Something you can put on a stranger and have your best friend spot it from across a parking lot and go, "wait, that's so you."

What we don't do

Inside jokes that need a footnote. If we have to explain why something's funny, it doesn't go on a shirt. We'd rather make something simple that actually lands than something clever that only half the room gets.

The practical part
